The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Arc B580 Steel Legend + Challenger with Backplate is a GPU water block for the ASRock Intel Arc B580 Steel Legend 12GB OC and Challenger 12GB OC graphics cards. It cools the card with a chrome-plated copper block under an acrylic top, and the black aluminum backplate is in the box.

Technical highlights

Alphacool says the block balances aesthetics and performance, and that it is precisely matched to the PCB layout of these two cards. The fin structure is based on the proven cooling technology of previous Eisblock coolers and has been specifically adapted to the requirements of the Arc B580 GPU. The fins are 0.4 mm thick. With that thickness and a fin spacing of 0.4 mm, Alphacool says the structure combines excellent water flow with high cooling performance. The jet plate features an inlay that distributes the water pressure better across the fins and optimizes heat absorption. An adjusted water inlet gives the water a better inflow angle.

Notes

• Please note: Alphacool asks you to use the block only in conjunction with clear transparent water cooling fluids. It warns that the particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
• Remove the original cooler on an antistatic mat and clean the card of thermal paste and pad residues before you place the pads and fit the block.
