Full copper

Alphacool says the new NexXxoS radiators are the first to truly deserve the "Full copper" attribute. All main parts are made from copper: not only the fins and channels, but the chambers also. In Alphacool's account this brings an improvement in performance where other radiators are left without a chance. It adds that the material already gives an advantage over the competition and that the inner structure is up to par with it. Separated chambers give the coolant a clear direction, allowing high flow rates which improve the performance of the whole cooling loop. The chambers on the heat exchanger are flat, and thanks to the reduced overall length they increase mounting flexibility.

The technical specifications for the materials are mostly copper inside, and a casing with side panels of steel and threads of brass around the copper chambers.

What the loop needs

The radiator has six G1/4 connection threads, three on the inlet and three on the outlet. A loop uses two of them, so it takes two fittings. Alphacool's scope of delivery lists no plugs for this radiator, so any connection left open needs a G1/4 plug from our plug and stop fittings. It takes three 120 mm fans, and the box holds twelve M3x30mm and twelve M3x35mm screws for them.

The next thickness down in this fan size is the NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 360mm Radiator in the White Special Edition.
