The Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 Full Copper X-Flow 140mm Radiator is a 140 mm radiator for one 140 mm fan, 30 mm thick, with four G1/4 connections. Water enters at one copper chamber and leaves at the opposite one. The thicker X-Flow radiator in the same fan size is the XT45 Full Copper X-Flow 140mm.

Full copper

Alphacool says the new NexXxoS radiators are the first to truly deserve the "Full copper" attribute. All main parts are made from copper: not only the fins and channels, but the chambers also. According to Alphacool this brings an improvement in performance where other radiators are left without a chance.

X-Flow

In structure, the X-Flow radiators differentiate materially from the standard radiators: they are designed for high flow rates. On both sides sit beveled copper chambers that have an identical structure. The water is sent jetting through all available channels at the same time to the other chamber, from which it then leaves the radiator.

Mounting

Versatile and easy mounting is one of the main points on which the research and development department at Alphacool focused. In this series the chamber offers three possibilities for fitting installation on both inlet and outlet, but not on the NexXxoS ST30. Where there are three, less angled fittings are needed, improving flow rates and offering more mounting possibilities. This radiator is an ST30, with four G1/4 connections in all. Alphacool adds that even mounting and installation of fans and radiator grills is easy and versatile with these radiators. The M3 threads are standard in the radiator sector, and M3 screws are available in all lengths at an affordable price.

Screw protection

The dreaded insertion of a screw too far into the radiator does not result in expensive damage here, even with a long screw. Unlike other radiators, Alphacool says, the NexXxoS series is equipped with an internal protective ledge which stops the screw before it damages the fins.

What the loop needs

Two of the four G1/4 connections are used, one as inlet and one as outlet, so the loop takes two G1/4 fittings, and the two screw plugs in the box close the others. It holds one 140 mm fan with M3 fan thread. The size for two 140 mm fans is the ST30 Full Copper X-Flow 280mm.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
