Alphacool Apex Liquid ECO 1000ml Clear (18640)

Alphacool Apex Liquid ECO is a clear ready-mix coolant for the loop of a PC water cooling system, in a 1000 ml bottle. It can be used directly from the bottle.

What is in it

Alphacool says this liquid represents its high-end coolant. The product does not contain any ingredients that are dangerous and aggressive. Thus Alphacool describes it as ecologically harmless, a liquid that can be disposed of safely if necessary.

Alphacool says the additives included effectively protect the water loop from corrosion, limescale and other contaminants. The ingredients also minimize the surface tension of the liquid, and this makes it easier to dissolve bubbles in the loop. In addition, the pump is lubricated as a side effect, which in turn can increase its service life. Alphacool goes further and says that life is significantly extended. Its data sheet sums the coolant up as best cooling performance and a lubricant for the pump.

Osmosis water as the foundation

At its foundation is water that has been filtered and purified several times through an osmosis system. Normal tap water, by contrast, can contain various substances that have no place in a cooling loop. Lime can clog fine cooling fins and, with them, block the complete whole loop. Chlorine, which is added to tap water in some countries, is extremely harmful to nickel-plated surfaces. Nickel-plating and other surfaces can also come under attack from various other minerals and substances.

No restrictions

The coolant is suitable for all materials that are usually included in the water circuit of a water cooling system. This includes materials such as copper, brass, nickel, chrome plating, aluminum, Plexiglas (PMMA), POM, PPS-GF40, PETG, acrylic, PVC and EPDM/PP.

Notes

• Do not add other biocides to the coolant, or anti-corrosion fluids.
• Do not dilute the fluid with distilled water. Otherwise the basic and coordinated properties of the fluid will be lost.
