Color from the tubing itself

Alphacool calls hoses the lifeblood of a water cooling system and this tubing its latest generation. Its focus in developing these tubes was on deep, intense colors as well as comfortable handling during installation and connection. The result is tubing in a variety of sizes and colors, such as red, green, blue or black. This one is clear. Alphacool puts it this way: "we specifically ensured that there would no longer be any need to deal with color particles in the coolant fluid". All the color would come not from the fluid but rather from the tubing itself.

Bending

Besides the color, the installation and bending properties are of course very important in tubing. Alphacool says the ability to span a tight bend radius and comfortable handling in tricky spaces were also emphasized during development. By its account this was optimized to perfection by mixing different combinations of synthetic materials. In Alphacool's words the resulting tubing manages to bring opposing goals together in harmony, and will satisfy both amateur enthusiasts and experienced water cooling users.

What a run needs

A run takes two fittings for 13/10 mm hose, one at each end.

Notes

• Use only clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, which can void the manufacturer's warranty.
