Alphacool HF G1/4" Quick Release Fitting, Deep Black

The Alphacool HF Quick Release Connector Kit G1/4 Inner Thread - Deep Black is a quick-release coupling set made of black brass. It has a G1/4 inner thread on both sides, and a pack holds one set.

Properties

• Thread: 2x G1/4 inner thread (IG), one on each side
• Size (L x D): 60.3 x 26.1 mm
• Material: Brass
• Color: Deep Black
• Pieces in the pack: 1 coupling set

How it locks

Alphacool says its new quick-release coupling sets have been newly developed for safety reasons, to offer extra security. For this reason the two halves do not use a "click" mechanism but are bolted together with a type of union nut. The couplings can no longer be accidentally unlocked.

Flow

Alphacool says that installing these couplings will affect the flow rate of your loop only slightly or not at all. When unlocking, both sides of the coupling are sealed completely.

What a loop needs

They have a 1/4 inch internal thread on both sides, so your choice of fitting can be used, and Alphacool says connections of all sizes fit. Each half takes one G1/4 fitting for your tube size.
