Does this product work well for scanning photos? I want the photo to fill up the entire field, regardless of the size of the photo.

We use it to scan driver licences and insurance cards. The size of output does not match the card but we go through 3rd party (non-Ambir) software so that may be the problem. Sorry I can't answer your question directly. Overall we like the scanner - our problem seems to be the intermediary software.

Can I use this product for ID scanning for hotel check in? We use Innsoft Reservation Client?

Yes it will work for check inn for innsoft however you do have to get unlock code from innsoft and they'll charge you full price so better off to buy directly from innsoft if you are planning to use for check inn system

Does this scan both sides of card?

No it does not, but the included software will continue to scan if you insert the id with the other side up quickly enough so that both sides can be scanned in the same image.

Im just needing photo images of Driver Licenses and Medical cards. Does this just scan as an image?

Yes it work but it won't work if you try to use with Check Inn Software. Innsoft won't allow. I hope this help Thank you Rish
