My two displays are 2560x1600 and 4096x2160.  My new W2100 card shows max settings of 1920x1080 and 3840x2160.

WHAT does it take to make the card support the native resolutions of the monitors?  [DellU3011 and LG 31MU97]

Windows 7 x64,  Dell XPS8700

Are you using displayport? The higher resolutions are often difficult on anything else.

Question 2

I'm looking to connect my desktop computer to 4K LED TV's.  (Resolution 3840x2160).  Does this card do it, and does it do multiple 4k monitors?

Depends much on the TV.   Does TV have a Displayport input?  Some 4K TVs do and some do not.  The card will drive a 4K TV via DVI adaptor but it will be at 30 Hz rather than 60.   That probably means it will drive 2 4K monitors at 30 Hz but this DP and 4K is not as straight forward as it should be.

So the card might support two DP 4K monitors or TVs at 30 Hz each if the frequency can be selected.  AMD Catalyst Control has a switch for frequency but it is greyed out and locked at 60Hz running on my Windows 10 OS.

This is not a performance card,  I would recommend a Radeon rather than the Firepro, especially if you have games to play.  It is a decent monitor for 3D CAD work but it is likely a dog when trying run full motion 3D graphics.

I am building new computer for Wedding video editing in HD. Would this card work? Have a 6 year old acer 23 inch monitor will this work?

I'm really not 'tech smart' enough to answer your question.
I bought a 6-7yo Dell Precision work station for school use.
This card was the least expensive to run AutoCAD.
It works fine for me.

will this card work with the spec of PCI Express slots conform to the PCI Express 2.0 standard ??
Im using a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4.0)
I cannot get it to boot.

I've used it with pic-e 2.0, so, yes, it does work with pci-e 2.0.

Question 6

Is this GPU double precision capable?  Some sources say yes, others say no.

We installed two on our 2U AMD node to support GPGPU.  Linux OS booted OK. Lost console video output (asume it went to the FirePro cards) - some issues with the connector cable included in the package RE the DVI generation.

So far not tested performance . I believe it supports DP - but am waiting on compiler support for this add-on card(s).

Will this card support 3840 x 2160 resolution for the Sansung 28" U28D590D Monitor? If so, is it the least costly video card you have?
