i dont see how the size of the monitor relates to the performance of the card, as the card's performance is based on the numbers of generated pixels.

You'll need to contact the manufacturer for an exact answer to your question.  As far as I know, only two monitors can be used but you'll need the dongle for the 2nd DVI connection.

So I am deciding between this card and this one ASUS HD7790-DC2OC-1GD5 Radeon HD7790 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI-Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Support Card. I noticed this one says Workstation card and the other one says support card. Which one is better? Note that they are both 1GB and this one is 20$ less than the other. Keep in mind this is for a gaming desktop computer.

The FirePro line is not designed for gaming. It is tuned for optimum performance in bulk rendering applications such as what CAD/CAM software would use.

Gaming cards have a different cache tuning that is better suited to the rapidly-changing game environment

Either one would work, but for gaming the FirePro line is not recommended.

I don't have skills to do performance test and AMD nor Nvidia seems to no longer list this info. Hiding trade secrets I suppose. But this card is very low power. A 310 watt  power supply can handle it. Sorry I can't give details on performance. My build has a 450 watter, no problem.

I'm running Windows7 and have no experience with 8. I use 7 because it is a very stable and proven OS to run with my cad software. The V3900 has run flawlessly, keep in mind though this graphics card is meant for just that, graphics, and not gaming.
