Question 1

Would a 630 watt power supply be enough for this card?

Specs I've seen say 750W minimum for a 7990 card in a typical system.  That spec has some leeway.  So especially if you were running it light, you might get away with a quality 630W for a while. But most people wouldn't get a high end card like this to always run it light.
(If you smell smoke while running FurMark or mining Dogecoins, that'll be your PSU!)

Another thing that can happen is, your software will demand a lot from the card very suddenly, a skimpy PSU doesn't respond to the demand quite quickly enough, and the voltage drop crashes your system.  So a beefier PSU can be required just for stability.  The 12V rail configuration of your PSU can also play a role in overall stability.

After roasting a couple of successive 400W Antec supplies with a Radeon 7950, I now only buy better PSU's, 80+Gold rated, and well in excess of what I'll be drawing.  Learned my lesson.

Question 2

What cpu and motherboard would go well with this?  I have a Thor case and an 800w Rosewill power supply. I bought this for Christmas. Any suggestions would help. I'm doing a first build with my son.  Trying to put together a nice gaming system.  Jon F

I went with an asus Crosshair V Formula z motherboard because it handles the heat of a larger card like this pretty well and the matching red looks nice with the card.  For the processor, I went with a FX-9590 but all the other FX series processor I had worked just as fine as well. Since you have a 800w power supply, I would stick with a quad core (maybe even a six core) so you have some power left for the rest of your system lol. Hoped this kinda helped, have fun building!

When I run the Catalyst control center, the Hardware Info reports 3072 MB, 3GB, Should it report 6 GB?

if you r using windows 8.1 it report the whole 6 gb.if you r using windows 7 it will show only 3 gb ,but no worrys both gpus r runing at the same time and .

howdy, what is the graphics card power requirements?  I have maximum 275 watts available for graphics cards ... extra above the systme requirements.

The card itself needs about 500 Watts of power as you can see it needs two 8-Pin connectors

Hello, I noticed this cards specs state it has a hdmi port, but the pictures show only display ports and dvi. Also is this a diamond card or an AMD card? Thanks

No HDMI port. You'll need a mini-displayport to HDMI adapter to use HDMI. It's a Diamond card as far as I can tell. The card itself comes with no markings other than AMD logos but it comes with a Diamond driver CD and Diamond user manual.
