Operating Instructions
To start using the timer please insert the included battery. Lift the kickstand before opening the battery compartment. 0000 should appear in the display upon battery insertion. If not please RESET the timer to 0000 by pushing the 2 left buttons simultaneously.
TO COUNT UP:: Reset to 0000 then press start. You will begin counting up.
TO COUNT DOWN: Reset the timer to 0000 by pressing the 2 left buttons simultaneously, enter a time and press start you will begin counting down. FAST FORWARD: If you press and hold the Min or Sec buttons you will fast forward. No need to continually press buttons for every number advance, just press and hold any button.
Once you set a time and count down to 0000 the time initially set will stay in memory for use until next time. This is great for repeated tasks. Just press "Start" once to turn the timer on and "Start" again to begin counting down from the time previously set that's still in memory. To clear memory and set a new time just press 2 left buttons simultaneously to clear to 0000 and then set a new time. You may pause and restart and never lose your accumulated time.
If the timer is idle and not counting up or down it will turn itself off after 3 min. to save battery life. Press the start button once to turn the timer on.

Models eT-23 & eT-78 are basically identical inside except that the 23 is a 99-minute timer and only has one volume setting.
The 78 has the option of 99 min or 99 hr., a Loud 80dB mellow mid-tone beep or a softer mellow 72dB beep for when you are in close proximity and don't want to be startled or switch to mute. Both have auto shut-off feature that turns the timer off after being idle for 3 min.
Auto Memory, Fast Forward Buttons
RESET/CLEAR: Press the 2 left buttons simultaneously and timer will clear/reset to 0000.
COUNTUP: Reset/Clear to 0000 then press START
COUNTDOWN: Reset/Clear to 0000 then enter a time and press START
Press and hold any button to fast forward to your destination.
All our timers have an auto memory function. If you like to boil 3 min. eggs every morning, just set the countdown once and when the beeper goes off the timer will then shut itself off after 3 min. The next morning just press Start to turn the timer on and press Start again to begin the countdown from the previous morning time.
