Troubleshooting Guide for Common Issues with Motion-Sensor LED Night Lights
If your motion-sensor light fails to operate normally, follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the problem:
First - Check Battery Installation:
Ensure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity (positive and negative terminals). Incorrect installation may prevent the light from functioning.
Second - Battery Type Compatibility:
If the original batteries were alkaline, replacing them with zinc-manganese batteries may prevent the light from activating. Zinc-manganese batteries are shorter in length, potentially causing poor contact. We recommend using alkaline batteries whenever possible, or ensuring zinc-manganese batteries are securely installed.
Next - Infrared Heat Source Interference:
Using infrared heaters during winter may interfere with the motion sensor light. The infrared radiation emitted by heaters may affect the sensor's normal operation. It is recommended to turn off the heater for approximately 30 minutes. Once the interference subsides, the light fixture should resume normal functioning.
Finally - Lighting Environment Restrictions:
This motion-activated light only illuminates automatically in low-light environments. If the surrounding light is too bright, the sensor will not trigger the lighting function. Please ensure the light fixture is installed in a dimly lit area to ensure proper operation of the motion-sensing feature.
