How does this work with gaming and streaming devices. I have two smart tv's, two iphones, a ps3, an Xbox360, an apple TV and a roku?

Does fine. I have multiple iPhones, an iPad, a TiVo, PS3, Nest thermostat, PC, printer, and multiple laptops running running off it without a hiccup. To be honest, I have not had an issue with any modern router doing that level of use...

How man linear feet will this cover?

There is no clear answer to that question. The effective range is subject to the makeup of the walls, floors and ceilings of the place it is running in. Ductwork and appliances can impede the signal. I can give you a good example. My RTA1900 is installed in the first floor in a back room. I still get a very good signal on the second floor at the front of my 3,200 sq. foot home. There are also a lot of nearby WiFi networks with overlapping signals. My RTA1900 holds it own nicely. I bought it to replace a weaker router that could not compete with my neighbor's signals. - I hope you find this answer helpful... ??
