Amped Wireless SR10000 High Power Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender and Smart Repeater

Pros: These things work great. Compared to every other brand I've tried, which have been generally horrible, the Amped repeaters are very reliable. Very easy to set up. Great coverage

Overall Review: Wireless is by nature a bit delicate. I can't say these things are perfect, but relative to other brands I've tried, they are rock solid and best in class at this price point. They may not work well with every brand/model of router due to slight differences in timing/protocol handling. I've used them with linksys/cisco and tplink routers/AP's with no issues. Never tried with any Netgear routers.

Overall Review: I live in my inlaws guest house over 75 feet away from the main house. My inlaws have a 2500 sq ft house with the originating linksys router sitting at the front of the house. I stuck this badboy at the rear of the house in the florida room and now pool side and the guest house is picking up on the 6MB cable internet connection. I bought this to get off of tethering my phone to my computer and i am so glad i did. Well worth the money. May not cover exactly 10000 sq ft because of walls and trees but does dang good considering how far from the main house we are.

Pros: I purposely waited for several months to post this as I previously have been so unsatisfied by similar Netgear and Linksys extender/repeaters. This product flat out works with no set up problems, dropouts requiring resetting, marginal sgnal strengths and slow connections. I live in a very large house 5000 sqft with thick walls and floors some with steel reinforcements. My centrally located Linksys E3000 router left me dead in many areas. With this unit, I now have max bars on my iphones/ipads propped on my pillow, as well as 300Mbps connectivity on laptops. It simply works far better than my expectations and way beyond what I would have accepted.

Cons: I have kept waiting for something to go ary as with other brands but nothing has happened.

Overall Review: This is the first review I have ever written anywhere - but such is my satisfaction and relief that I felt compelled to do so. Reading back over this I sound like some kind of paid shill but honestly it is true

Pros: Excellent solution to filling those network dead zones. I live in large old house with 18 inch poured concrete foundation with Netgear router in basement. Medium strength on first floor, weak on second, non existent on third. Now have very good to excellent signal strength everywhere after setting up SR10000. Setup was breeze and took less than five minutes. Highly recommended!

Cons: When I use the microwave the repeater crashes...brand new mircowave that is on the other end of the kitchen. go figure have to do a restart to work again. Has the same range as my router does almost (DLINK DGL-4500)

Overall Review: Does not repeat your current network it smart repeats it. Meaning it creates its own wireless network(so you'll see 2 wireless networks when both in range) you have to connect to and then it connects to your routers wireless network.

Overall Review: After throwing my THIRD NetGear wireless repeater in the scrap bin, I took a chance on the Amped brand, with little prior knowledge of them. I've also all but given up on chasing the dream of extending 5 Ghz Wi-Fi, but with one or two devices in the house out of 12 wireless gizmos, I figured I could let that go and run with a 2/4 only repeater. So, this little thing is small, light, a bit "cheap feeling", but after going through their setup wizard (save yourself the grief and set up these things with a network CABLE), I was up and running and outshouting my neighbors in less than 15 minutes! I'm NEVER going to trust a wireless repeater that is A) From NetGear (sorry guys, I've tried!) or B) Doesn't have real, external antennas. I've taken apart all my prior failed repeaters, and the crummy internal radios are clearly inferior to a real "rubber duckie". And this one has TWO. I've been sunning this for over a week, with more Wi-Fi bars in the struggling areas of my property than I have ever seen using other brands. I didn't use it, but the response to Amped's tech support seems favorable based on other reviews. Although fairly brainless to set up, I can see room in some of the advance options where you might need to watch what your clicking, or even consult Amped support for some fancier configurations. (Determining to keep DHCP on by default or not was one of those areas that gave me pause). As another reviewer best put it "finally something with overkill!" A final word to the wise - take the time to learn which wireless channels you can REALLY use in your country, get a good survey of your competing neighbor signals, and let this device do the rest. I'm really pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my purchase.

Pros: Mr. Manuel, #130 was the most patient, knowledgeable, and caring technician ever. We spoke for over an hour. He walked me through everything. I cannot speak highly enough regarding this man. I who can do arterial sticks, and intubation, knows nothing regarding this stuff. Bless Mr. Manuel.

Cons: There are no cons. Not with Manuel.

Overall Review: This man should be made CEO of the corporation. If every company I had to deal with on the phone had a Manuel, then it would be a treat, instead of hell talking with a tech. He was great, as was the experience.

Pros: all i can say is WOAH!!!! this Repeater not only gave my 4700 SQ Foot House a 4/5 Win7 Reception Bar signal EVERY inch of the house. my entire 1.23 Acre YARD has at least 2/5 bars anywhere in the yard!!!

Cons: manual says does not work with firefox for setup but i beg to differ. i used IE9 FF, and Chrome to test the flexibility of the setup page for the repeater, all three work fine.
