How to avoid glass breaking during use this coffee press?
1. Warm the glass before use. Rinse and fill with hot water and let sit for a few minutes before dumping and making your coffee.
2. Avoid stirring with a metal spoon when preparing your coffee.
Would this work with pre ground, fine grind coffee?
A coarse ground is best, but regular ground coffee (for pour over or machines) is okay. Fine ground (for espresso or moka pots) is not recommended because the plunger will be difficult to push down and you will end up with gritty coffee.
