Question 1

What kind of connector cable is required to power this fan? I look at the pictures and it shows that it requires a chassis fan connection but it also has some other kind of connection I do not recognize.

it has the standard power connect cable typically coming from the power supply and a 3 pin connector to get power from the motherboard (MB). I would use only one - never both. 
the other cable a flat short (too short - 4 inch) cable for the three speed switch. the speed is manually controlled - not MB controlled.  
you need to be quite creative to find a mounting place for the switch given the short cable.

Question 2

does this fan come with the screws to mount it in the case?

Yes, I am very certain that when I purchased this item back in 2013, that it came with the screws to mount in my case.  The screws bore into the holes of the fan, and I was worried about cracking the mounting holes on the fan, but they worked fine.  Mounted mine in two different configurations over 1.5 years, and I've never had any issues.  Fan runs great, and no rattling from the way it's mounted.  I run mid normally, and high during long gaming sessions.

Can you turn off the LEDs while the fan is still running?

Nope the leds are hard wired in . But you can if you like un solder the wires and add a separate switch to turn them on or off. Cooler masters has fans that I think you might be interested in they use them in their storm scout cases. Hope this helps ya out

Will this fan replace the 120mm fans within the Antec 900 case?

The 120s in the 900 are solid. It can fit in the 120mm side fsn, but only if you have a small CPU heatsink. My heatsink was too large to accommodate the fan

Do these fans have the usual airflow indicator arrow?

No it does not but test it before you put it in the case to determine the flow direction.

Question 6

My motherboard only has one slot for fans. Is the molex adapter long enough to plug into my PSU?

Accepted Answer

You can always buy an adapter for a couple bucks if you are concerned.  Buy either a fan-fan or a fan-psu connector.  Should cost less than $5 and you will never have to worry.
