I see someone else answered the question while I was measuring, but I'll add my two cents in as well. I got 14 1/8" when I measured at the front panel, so close enough to 14 inches. Even if you could take off the feet, there's nubs built into the case itself so it still won't completely on it's bottom.

I am no longer in possession of this case( it when to a customer), but I remember the 2 120mm fans in the front were standard Antec fans, and the openings at the top were for 2 120mm fans or 1 240x 120 radiator. Hope this helps.

You might want to put the Model # in a Google Search because I did come across a website that showed a pic of a video card that wouldn't fit due to it's width. Your length is fine otherwise. I have the P50 but haven't put it together yet. It does say on Antec's website that it fits standard ATX though.

Q: Crossfire with a RX 480?

I'm running a single GeForce GTX 960 without having to remove the lower/front 120mm fan. So, your RX 480's length is not an issue. This is not a full ATX mobo case, so if your mobo [like mine] has several cable connections along the bottom, rout your cables, before adding the RX 480. This case is quiet, allows several alternatives for drive arrangement, and a wonder at cable management. I've pulled black panty hose over all filters to max the dust control potential with great success. Enjoy!

Three pin connectors may be used on four pin motherboard connections. The fourth pin is for variable speed control. If you look at the four pin connector, you will see that the alignment guide is not centered on the four pins. Connect the fan connector ensuring that you install it so that is properly oriented relative to the alignment guide. One side of the three pin fan connector has guide rails that match up to the motherboard connector when installed properly.

I know it says it has 3 internal 3.5 drive bays would it be possible to mount a fourth 3.5 HDD where the space for the external 5.25 is?  I was thinking of using this as a freeNAS box but want to be able to fit 4 HDDs.

You could certainly put another 3.5 drive in the 5.25 bay.

The 3 3.5 drives will still get better cooling, but you would have the space to put a hdd cooler in the 5.25 bay too if your workload is consistent enough to warrant extra cooling.

This would be a great FreeNAS case. Even has room for some 2.5 drives to load the FreeNAS OS onto so your storage can ALL be storage.

Question 2

Is there room in the case to run a pair of EVGA  gtx980 TI Hybrids in SLI?

I don't see this as being an issue. The motherboard side of the case is open and cavernous. The psu, 3.5" and 2.5" slots are all on the other side from this. Additionally, the top venting fans will not obstruct any add in card.

Can you fit a dvd drive in here with two 120mm fans mounted in the front?

It comes with two 120mm fans installed and yes you can fit a did drive. It's snug but it will fit. I went for the Antec 240 liquid cooler and with that setup a DVDs drive will not fit, so please keep that in mind.

Does this case support normal size PSUs?

Depends on how big, but I put a non-modular Corsair 430w in there with no problems and had plenty of room for all the leftover cables to sit in front of it in the compartment.  I'm at work and can't measure the compartment, but unless you're trying to put something monstrous (like 1000w +) in there, you shouldn't have a problem.
