I believe the connection end described by Sara P. is the VGA connecter end that is male and fits into a female interface/port with thumbscrews to either side to secure the connector to the interface.

Is the vga cable that comes with it male to male or female to male?

Well actually it's one of those transgendered cables that switches back and forth. Makes it really hard keeping a consistent picture quality.

Ok, so I got the moniter out of the packaging, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to adjust its angel. On my desk it seems to be always facing down and that is just plain annoying to me. How do I adjust it, if at all? Help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind, I figured it out. The mechanism is extremely tight, so you have tho disconnect the monitor from the stand and really put some muscle into it.
