Is this display 4k?

As said in the specifications, the recommended resolution is 1920x1080.

"4K" is a generic term for about six different resolutions standards, the smallest of which is 3840×2160 (which is Ultra High Def TV standard).

Therefore, this display's recommended resolution is exactly half of the lowest of the "4K" standards.

Could it display resolutions that high? Possibly. It would likely not look good, however

In addition to that, your graphics card would also need to be able to display a resolution that high, as well.

You will likely not find many "4K" computer monitors - and those that do exist are very expensive.

Will I be able to hook up an xbox one to this?

The monitor has dual HDMI ports, as well as a VGA port. The monitor automatically looks for which port is getting a signal, but you can manually do that as well.

Long story short, yeah, it should work just fine.
