I have an asus lap top computer ……….how do I find the connection, to add my surge protection to my computer??

These units typically come with a USB cable. Plug the USB cable into the UPS and your laptop, and then you can utilize the UPS for a graceful shutdown, if power stays off for long enough. The UPS should come with software that you can install to manage it. You should also be able to get the software from the manufacturer's website (for the UPS).
