Go to the APC website, and append to the root address
"/tools/upgrade_selector/index.cfm" to navigate to the page that gives the recommended battery replacement for your model.
Entering "RS 900" gives a response that it not a valid model number.  Try entering the model number as shown on the bar code sticker on the UPS.

I believe you need the RBC33.
Google for "apc back ups rs 1200", and the first link is a tech specs page for the APC BACK-UPS 1200VA 120V. The "Batteries & Runtime" section lists the replacement battery as RBC33.
Check the page to make sure it's the one you have.
