We do not have enough room to rack mount this - is there an option that would allow me to stand this item up?

This particular model is not a rack mount - stands on floor. MST2200. We have standardized on APC for UPS.

how long will the power last if the UPS has 16 amps on it?

Probably not long. I have mine at 5 amps and it will run for about 10-15 minutes.

What type of input plug is in this UPS? The picture looks like it might be NEMA 5-20P.

If I remember right its a 5-20p (it has the one vertical plug, and then a horizontal plug, then the ground); I had to install a 20amp circuit into my house. It wasn't a lose because I needed a new pair circuits to reduce the burden on the rest of the wiring anwyay. Hope this helps.
