Why are the 2200 VA and 3000 VA models just for European market (50Hz and CE plugs)?

There are models for the US Market.  I purchased 2 x the APC SMT3000C models.  The ones I purchased from Newegg were the 120V output but the wrong plug.  I had to go to Lowes and buy the right kind of household 115V/120V plug, unscrew the plug that came with the UPS's and replace with the plug I purchased from Lowes and then everything worked once I got the correct plug type.

As far as the UPS's being only for the European market, I can only say, make sure you purchase the correct USA Version, I15V/120V Input.  The cords on my 3000C UPS's were also super thick, and I could barely fit the plugs I purchased on the input cords.  Because of the thickness of the cords which are attached inside the UPS's, I think my UPS's draw significant power from the power outlet.  I do have 2 computers, a color laser printer, an NVR, a switch, and 3 monitors all plugged into one of my UPS's and at full load it only draws about 12% of the available power.  I just had a blackout today, 06/20/2019, and both my UPS's held up well , as I usually have at least multiple power outages a year living in Florida, the Lightning capital of the USA.  I also only paid about $800, or less at the time of purchase, a year?? ago for each 3000C UPS brand new from Newegg making them well worth the price considering the high number of blackouts we get.

I hope this helps, although, I don't believe I directly answered your question about there being only the European model available as my models are the 115V/120V versions with extra thick power cords and the wrong plug type instead of the 240V?? European model?? (I'm not sure if that is the European standard or not.)

The last thing I wanted to mention was the bulkiness of the APC SMT3000C unit.  They are extremely heavy weighing some 120lbs with the battery and require freight shipping.  Luckily free residential freight shipping was included at the time I purchased my units.  The shipping alone, I think cost more than the price I paid for the Units.
