does this product come with standard American 3prong power cord?

No. It is a NEMA L5-30P. Basically, it's a standard twist plug for high amperage equipment. Adapters can be ordered, but if it's going into a server room I would suggest having an electrician drop the proper plug with the proper breaker feeding it.

Does this come with a battery? Or do you have to buy a battery separately?

When you buy this item it comes with a battery pack. You can buy other batteries to replace them later.

Is there a non-rack-mounted version?

I think this for a rackmounted only. You could call APC to see if there is one that isn't rackmounted.

I am interested in a replacement battery set for the one I currently have. How much?

Google "APC Smart-UPS SMT3000RM2U accessories" and start from there. New Egg list theirs for about three-twenty.
