Q: I have a Gigabyte M68MT-S2 motherboard. Is this compatible with it? and also I'm planning to get the R7 260x graphic card with this power supply too so that is my reason for upgrading the power wattage. I am tired of playing games in lowest quality setting >.<

DO NOT get this power supply. I have bought two of them and both have shorted out in under 3 months. My PC is not pulling a lot of power and this still shorted out. Fuse is faulty. I have taken them apart both times and each had fuse shortage.

I think you should not have any compatibility issues with any PSU Since, it's just supplying power. I have had this Power Supply for almost 2 years. It is still running pretty nice. It will work just fine.

technically it is enough provided everything else in the build is not drawing a lot of power (stock voltages on cpu, not running 8 mechanical HDs, etc). But like the other said, go with the 750w to give yourself a little more wiggle room. Relly the most will tell you not to run a PSU at more than 80% of what it can handle, i like to keep mine at around 60-70% load at most.

Q: I see it has fans, but where are they placed (I mean directionally and I don't mean the obvious rear one =)) and which are intake and which are exhaust? My case has a bottom intake with a filter so I need a PSU that intakes from the bottom. Also with the fan adjustment can you turn any one fan off? I ask because I'm not sure I want it getting intake from inside the case if I can just do outside vents.

There is a fan on the top under the Apevia sign, which is an exhaust, and the fan near the on/off switch is the intake. No, when you turn the fans down to the lowest setting, they stay on, but go much slower and make little noise.

Q: How long is the ATX 8-pin power cable for this power supply? I have a pretty tall case, and I'm worried it won't properly reach the 8-pin connector at the top of my motherboard.

How tall is your case? I have a 30" tower and I have no problem with any of my connections. You can always buy those cool neon extension cables if you have some freakishly tall tower.

Yes...for power supplies...SLI and Crossfire are one and the same.

Yes, this power supply will work with the graphics card. Looking at the specifications for the GTX 770 the minimum recommended system power supply is 600 W and this power supply is rated at 680 W. I do recommend checking your harddrives and optical (DVD/Blueray) drive to make sure they take a SATA power connector and not the 4 pin cconnector. If memory serves this power supply only has SATA connectors for powering up peripherals.

Yes, the power supply doesn't seem to have a definitive p1 style connector, but with the main strip plus a 2x2 connector on the remaining slots fixed the problem. To explain, the connectors only fit in their exact slots, so you won't really risk screwing up your board, and it is not too difficult to figure out, however, the power supply LEDs have burned out on my unit after a few days of light use, idk how reliable the whole unit is. I would consider shopping around more.

Can I mount this in a Dell Dimension 9200 upside-down?

Except for the fan the only moving part in power supplies can be mounted in any positions, however you have to allow for unobstructed clearance around the fan it self and a clear path for air flow. Also so keep in mind that the fan was designed to pull heat away from the semiconducters air flow must away from unit and exhausted out of the case so fresh air can be drawn in. Hope that helps

Yes, it will definitely fit.  it fits comfortably in my antec 300 mid tower, and I have a friend who uses the same power supply for his antec 900.  You shouldnt have a problem.
