Does this item come with a 4 pin motherboard connector?

There may be a way to connect them with an adapter if you should find one. I bought a fan controller which enables you to control fan speed and see temperature ratings within the tower. This enabled me to have five fans at digital front mount control.

Is it possible to choose what color you wish the LEDs to be?

I don't believe so, it is a simple plug and use with no jumpers or such for options on the coloring of the LEDs.
