Could I put my shoes in it??

It is a little smaller, flatter than a standard shoebox.
I like the smaller size, and it sits nicely beside my TV, but it does hold heat. The PS passes air left to right with OK ventilation. It doesn't come w a case fan. I didn't think I'd need one but the CPU fan kicks in making it a little louder than I wanted.   I drilled additional holes in the top cover over the front RH corner where the heat collected, near the PS to assist in keeping it quiet. Works for the most part, but still spins up over long stretches. Get a case fan for heat. A quiet one for the media station setup.

Question 2

OK, my wife wanted a small case to fit a specific area on her desk.  Found this.  I am looking at a ECS KBN-I/2100 AMD E1-2100 Dual Core processor Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU/VGA Combo to put into it.  I also want an SSD in there.  What form factor ssd should I use?  Should I use an external optical drive? This case is so small to begin with.  Do I need a video card with this?  Thank you all for your guidance, I hope to become an answerer of questions, LOL.

The case is compact however very well laid out depending on your motherboard processor combo there is space for video card on motherbord i went with a gigabyte h77 wifi motherboard with a intel 3rd generation i5 processor and the graphics that came with the chip are fine for my needs. only other thing that i installed was a better cpu cooler my drive fit in dvd drive fit in with no problem also has space for 2.5 and 3.5 internal drives
