Does this cable work from HDMI to DisplayPort?
No. This cable is unidirectional and works only from a DisplayPort (DP/DP++) source to an HDMI display. It will not work from HDMI ports on game consoles, TVs, or laptops to a DisplayPort monitor.
Can this cable output 4K?
No. This cable supports up to 1080p Full HD. For 4K output, use our 4K DP to HDMI cable (ASIN B01672IR6I / Model No. 102013).
Will this cable work with my DisplayPort computer?
It's a passive cable and works with most DP computers supporting DP++ signal (Dual-Mode). For those with DP signal only (no DP++), an active DP to HDMI adapter (ASIN B00EDT0072 / Model No. 102021) is required.
Why am I getting no signal or a black screen?
Confirm you are using a true DisplayPort output, not HDMI, USB, or Mini DisplayPort. Ensure the HDMI end is connected to the HDMI input port on the monitor/display.
