I had to contact the company that ships these to get the extension portion of the cable, mine only came with the brick, and short lead that goes to the laptop itself. The support was not something I would speak highly about, weeks between replies, and took forever to finally ship after they said it was on its way, but they sent me 3 so I guess that was cool.

I am not sure why is says that but I can tell you that mine came with the appropriate screen display. (2880x1800). Honestly this mac was a super good deal for all the specs that it came with. It works and feels brand new from what I can tell so far.
