The Aquacomputer Ultra Soft Pump Decoupling Kit is a pump mount consisting of four extra soft rubber buffers with M4 threads. They are fitted between the pump and the PC case, so far fewer pump vibrations reach the housing.

Why extra soft
Conventional industrial buffers are tougher. Aquacomputer says a harder industry buffer cannot absorb pump vibrations as well. It therefore lets significantly more of them be transmitted by the pump to the housing, which only makes the noise worse.
In contrast, each buffer in this kit is equipped with an extremely soft rubber element, optimally adapted to the pumps used in PC water cooling systems. That is how the kit can reduce the risks posed by pump vibrations, and do it effectively. To help you distinguish them from "normal", stiffer buffers, Aquacomputer's rubber elements are made with yellow colored rubber.
What the pump needs
Combined with a pump adapter (41094, 41095,41096) and an attached aqualis base (34044, 34045, 34046, 34047, 34051, 34052, 34073, 34074), the buffers also need the holder for aqualis (34043). None of those parts comes in this kit.
