Aquacomputer Slot Cover With Filling Port For LEAKSHIELD Pressure Sensor (34143)

The Aquacomputer Slot Cover With Filling Port For LEAKSHIELD (34143) is a fill port that sits in a free PCIe or PCI slot. On the outside of the computer it has an automatically closing hose connection, and on the inside a G1/4 thread for connection to the cooling circuit.

How the valve works

Aquacomputer calls this housing opening elegant. Its outward-facing tube fitting has an integrated stop valve: the hose, once inserted, opens it, and when the hose is removed the valve closes again by itself.

Filling with LEAKSHIELD

In a water cooling system equipped with LEAKSHIELD, coolant can be filled and refilled very easily. Start by activating the filling mode on the LEAKSHIELD. After that, the hose is plugged into the slot cover, and its free end is held in the coolant bottle / canister.

Negative pressure in the loop pulls the coolant in. Once the desired level has been reached, the hose is pulled out of the bottle, and the remaining amount of liquid in it is also sucked in. The hose is then separated from the slot cover, which shuts off the connection again.

What the loop needs

Please note that the internal connection to the cooling system is not included in the scope of delivery: order a fitting suitable for your hose system separately from our fittings. LEAKSHIELD is not included either. It is available as the LEAKSHIELD leakage protection system, standalone (34138) and as the version for ULTITUBE (34137).
