The ARC-5020 from areca will grow and change as your storage needs do. This 4 drive tower has a built in 400MHz I/O processor to manage the unit and keep the load off of your system. There is a built in bank of NVRAM to store configuration and transaction log data.

The tower supports RAID levels 0, 1, 10, 3, 5, span or JBOD. The tower gives you instant availability with background initialization. The expansion and migration technology is perhaps the best feature of this tower. This lets you increase the array and migrate from one RAID level to another and have the tower handle it all in the background while you keep working.
