Will Windows XP SP3 run on this motherboard?

The officially supported operating systems are Windows 7, 8, and 10. I have not tried running windows XP on it, can't say I'd recommend it unless you have a very good reason. The XP drivers for the separate components (processor, LAN, audio, graphics) appear to exist from their respective vendors, but there's no telling how well it will actually work. If you do it, I wouldn't recommend giving the PC an internet connection due to security vulnerabilities in XP.

Does this rig have a dual core CPU?

No, but it did perform on par with similar boards. It uses laptop memory but if you get the Dual Channel 1333 speed Ram and at least 8GB, you should get decent performance. This is not suited for any gaming, only business and internet searches. Works with office 365 fine with little lag. It does have USB3 which I needed but not SATA 6G drives like I wanted. An SSD disk makes up for that IO advantage of not having SATA 3 6GB TR. In fact with the SSD drive it runs as fast as my other 3.2GHZ Quad Core machine with a 1TB SATA 6 7200 Seagate HD Drive. So it depends what you fill your motherboard with as far as performance parts. 6 of one, half dozen of the others when the total for the  build price is  finalized

Do all of the drivers have 32 bit versions? I need to run Windows 7 32-bit.

According to the manufacturer's (ASRock) web site, this product supports 32 bit Windows 7.

Question 4

I ordered this motherboard/CPU combo and a 4gb ddr3 memory stick.  Well the ram doesn't fit it's to long.  Does this use laptop memory because they are the only thing I see that's smaller?

The MB uses laptop memory modules.  Also, I had trouble with this board. It would not  recognize the module. I had to boot using the mory I took out of laptop. After bios update, the MB then worked with the new memory.

I'd like to install the latest version (2.7.4) of Linuxcnc on a mini ITX motherboard with parallel port. I haven't bought any hardware yet, but I'm wondering if this MB will fill the bill?  Thanks.

I'm running freenas on mine, so I'd imagine other distros of linux would work fine. I've also run windows 8.1 on it with no issues.
