Question 1

Is the DC adapter power supply shown in picture included? It is shown in picture but "Packaging" states it is not included!

It is included. In the box is 2 sata power/data cables, the case, motherboard, m.2 wifi+bluetooth adapter, 2 antennas and cords to attach to the m.2 adapter, the dc power adapter(think laptop power brick). All you need is a CPU (skylake for bios version mine came with, but update is available for kaby lake), RAM (you have 2 260 pin ddr4 slots on the motherboard), Storage ( 2 2.5 inch drives bays in the case, up to 9.5mm height), and a keyboard and mouse to setup.

Question 2

I see wires for SATA in the picture. Does it come with the wires to conect my SSD to board and for SATA power?

Yes, it will come with two SATA Data with Power Cables. The combination SATA and Power cable type, similar to the SATA connectors found in laptops.

Question 3

I am building this for my folks so I am going to stick with an i3-6100.  Does this come with a CPU fan (it appears to)?  If so, basically all I need hardware wise is a processor, memory, and an SSD/HD?    Thanks

It does not come with a fan for the CPU. 
The boxed CPU should specify if it has the Intel stock fan cooler included, I believe the 6100 on this site has one in the box. 
If the CPU does not include this, you will need to buy an aftermarket "low profile" fan cooler or find an Intel stock fan cooler, since these will fit. 
But yes, all you need is the CPU with fan cooler, memory, and SSD/HD.

Question 4

Does this come with the antennas and wires necessary to install an M.2 wifi card? If not where can I get them?

Comes with them, but its ridiculously tricky (and questionable performance wise) to route the antenna wires around the cpu heat sink. I'd get longer cables if wireless is important.

Question 5

The picture shows the m.2 card and wiring and the antennas for the wifi, so can I assume it will be wifi ready or do I need to buy anything else?
Planning on using kaby lake pentium for HTPC build and need the wifi.

As long as you buy the DeskMini 110W model, which is the one on this Newegg page, it is 100% ready for WiFi. The M.2 WiFi card, antenna, cables, and antenna input connectors are supplied, there is nothing else needed for a WiFi connection.

The Intel WiFi card also supports Bluetooth. I've used the WiFi in this PC, and it worked very well. Just be sure to install the Intel Wireless LAN, and Intel Bluetooth drivers for the best performance. Each of those two drivers is a separate driver installation program that will be on the disk supplied with this PC, or from the DeskMini 110W's information page on ASRocks's website. The third Intel LAN driver is for the wired Internet connection.

When you build your DeskMini 110W, assemble all the antenna parts and insert the WiFi card into it's M.2 slot (there are two M.2 slots, only one is for the WiFi card). Route the two wires from the antenna to the WiFi card before you install the CPU cooler, but be aware of where the CPU cooler will be and route the wires accordingly. The instructions are very helpful, be sure to read them.

Question 6

what do I need to make this fully functional? 1 HD, 2 Dimm, and a CPU?

You need a socket 1151 non-K CPU with Integrated graphics and under 65W TDP, two DDR4 SODIMMs with 2133 or 2400 frequency. You can use a 2.5" laptop style HDD, but you would be happier with an SSD - either 2.5" or M.2. if getting M.2 remember it has to be PCIe (nit SATA)

Question 7

This is listed in the TweakTown text as supporting the i7-7700K, but that has a TDP of 91W, where specs only list a TDP of 65W supported. Is this correct?

Long story short, it must be a mistake. The specification of a maximum processor TDP of 65W was stated when the DeskMini system was introduced. That is such a basic and important specification, that it cannot be ignored, or changed.
But here is where things become confusing. If you check the CPU Support List of the DeskMini 110, you'll find the i7-7700K included in the list, a 91W TDP processor. We can also find the i5-7600K in the list, another 91W TDP processor. Both of them are the new Kaby Lake processors.
If we check the CPU Support List for the previous generation Skylake processors, we do not find and that have a TDP beyond 65W. The Skylake 91W TDP i7-6700K and i5-6600K processors, very similar to the two Kaby Lake 91W TDP processors, are not in the CPU Support List.
Why are the two Kaby Lake 91W TDP processors in the CPU Support List? It must be a mistake by ASRock. All of the standard sized Skylake 100 series chipset desktop boards (like the H110 chipset in the DeskMini) are able to use Kaby Lake processors, with a UEFI/BIOS update. Someone without enough technical knowledge must have simply added all the Kaby Lake processors to every ASRock Skylake chipset board's CPU Support List. TweakTown is apparently just reporting what they find in the DeskMini's CPU Support List, even though it is obviously wrong.
Another example of why that must be wrong is, none of the 91W TDP Intel 'K' type processors are sold with a CPU cooler. The only thing in the box is the processor, no CPU cooler. Yes we can find a few after market CPU coolers that fit in the DeskMini 110 PC case, but none of them are appropriate for a 91W TDP processor.
Finally, the DeskMini 110 uses a 19V input power supply, which must be regulated down for the three standard PC ATX voltages, +12V, +5V, and +3.3V. While the 91W TDP spec is a heat dissipation specification, those processors also use more power than a 65W TDP processor. 91W TDP CPUs would put too much stress on the voltage regulator.

Question 8

The WiFi antenna hole too small ?

it is quite small, however with some effort I was able to install them. The antenna holes are not perfect circles, they are shaped almost like the letter "D". The wifi terminals (gold) are also shaped like that, they are not circles; once you align the wifi terminals (gold) with the hole, it takes a bit of pushing and it goes through. 
The more troublesome task was to install the wifi wires that go from the wifi M2 module to the wifi terminals. The wires are so short that you have to find ways to bend it around the CPU cooler. I'm using a Noctua low profile CPU cooler on my i5-6500, so it wasn't too difficult for me, but I imagine it would be harder with a stock intel cooler.

Question 9

Can I boot linux with no issues?

I had no problems installing and running Ubuntu 16.04. I had the image on an USB Flash Drive which I plugged in, changed the boot order in BIOS, and then followed the standard install procedures accepting the default install options (e.g., disk layout, etc.) Everything seems fine with no issues with drivers.

does this come with everything you need to start using it?

This includes the case, motherboard with WiFi and Bluetooth, and power supply. So you have to buy a processor, memory, HDD/SSD, low profile (!!) CPU fan, and OS. Note that Windows 7 is a bear to install since Intel stopped making the newer CPUs work with USB2.0 out of the box (EHCI driver compatibility). So you can't load drivers, the W7 DVD, etc. There are not many USB ports, so I would suggest using a USB hub also. There is 1 dual USB2.0 header on the MB.
