will it boot from a usb flash drive?

All modern motherboards should be able to boot from USB media. I have had issues when they are connected to the front panel, but usually it all works if the USB media is connected to an onboard port in the back.

Is this board 64 bit compatible ?

Bill,

Yes this board is 64-Bit Compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.  The board supports a maximum of 16GB of DDR3 ram.  Keep in mind you can use various brands of RAM, however what worked best for me was Crucial 8GB DDR3 sticks or the 16GB Kit.

Will this board run with a 20 Pin PSU @ 150w?

The E-350M1 motherboard has a 24 pin ATX power connector, however it will work fine with a 20 pin connector.

This is what the user manual states:
"Though this motherboard provides 24-pin ATX power connector,
it can still work if you adopt a traditional 20-pin ATX power supply.
To use the 20-pin ATX power supply, please plug your
power supply along with Pin 1 and Pin 13."

I own and use daily 3 of these motherboards. They have worked out really well for me.

Question 5

When I plug my vga monitor in there is no response from the monitor on boot up.  The fans come on - they are plugged into the mono - and the power led turns blue.  The DVD drive lights.  If I remove the memory from the mono I get the standard warning bell up startup.  So, is the board bad and I just need to get a new one?  Or is there something else I can try to get my monitor to work.  Monitor is a 1998 Gateway product which does work on my current old server.

Your Board is FU. Both my monitor ports work, but I spent as much for RAM as I did the board and it is slower than snot. NO other processor will work with it, you can't improve it. Just other folks please don't buy this or any other Mini ATX system. I do zero gaming or streaming, and it will barely word process and surf. You can't return them, they're useless. Your better off with a tablet.

How much power does this pull?

I currently have 2 sticks of 4gb memory in it, a Radeon HD 4600 series video card, and three 3.5" Hdd in my little system using this board, all of this is running from a 250 watt power supply.
So if you are using the board alone without major add-ons, I would say it is pulling less than 75 Watts.

Question 7

Does the eSATA support a Port Multiplier device attached, specifically SANS Digital 4 Bay TR4M+B tower for building a file/media server. Also, does the eSATA consume a SATA Channel from the 4 internal SATA ports or is it on its own channel?

I haven't tried it with a port multiplier, but it is a separate channel. I have 4 internal SATA drives hooked to it, and I use the external one to run backups via a removable cradle - so I have 5 hooked up at the same time when running backups without issue.
