Does this M.2 raid card require a Threadripper or will this with with a Ryzen 9 and X570?

Most of the time yes. The new ryzen cpus only have 16 pcie lanes. This will be eaten by a video card. if you slot a video card and this card it will most likely slow the port the video is in to 8x and this card to 8x. While there are 8 other lanes for the motherboard only 16 are for pcie.

What RAID modes are supported? Just 0/1 or do you get fancier options like 5, 6, 10, etc.?

The card itself requires PCIe bifurcation thus the installed drives are visible by your motherboard and operating system.

You can then do any hardware or software RAID your system supports.

It did for me. One of the slots wouldn’t read one of my drives. Since I only needed two slots for my usage case, I’m not bothered.
