i want to use this monitor for a xbox series x and eventually a pc once I build one, does the weird wifi cords mean this isn't compatible with a xbox series x or is it just an added feature that does not need to be used?

I use mine for both Xbox and PC and it works great. The WiFi connectors are optional and meant to be used with PC if you decide to use the monitor stand as a WiFi antennae. All you need to connect to Xbox Series X is a good HDMI cable. The monitor also has Display Port for when you're ready to connect to a PC.
