all the reviews say it is 165hz and doesnt have usb but the product page says it has 180hz and usb? thats like the deciding factor for buying this monitor over another

I bought 2 of these PG34QRT2B 2 weeks ago. They show as 180hz in windows and have usb ports on the back. I do a lot of alt tabbing from games to other programs and to the desktop. I had issues with the screen trying to adjust (flashing black a couple of times) when running at 180hz. I dropped to 120hz and the screen doesn't try to adjust and is smooth transitions. I did not troubleshoot the issue to find a solution for the 180 but I am happy at 120hz for now.

Question 2

What is the purpose of an integrated wifi antenna? Why does a monitor need wifi?

Accepted Answer

Because monitor technology has peaked and they needed to come up with something to sell more :) It is just the antenna, so your PC needs to have antenna ports. I suppose it might give you a stronger signal than antennas directly attached to the PC, blocked by the metal case. I actually used it to replace the antennas on my WiFi router.

Does this monitory have vesa mounting options?  I'd like to mount to the wall with a VESA mount.
