Does the Bios flashback work on this board? Wanting to get a 13th gen cpu with this board.

I see on the ASRock support page that they have a new BIOS for Gen13 Intel processors.  It should be fine and I'm planning to use it with an i5-13600KF.  Unfortunately I won't be putting it together for a month, so I can't tell you it will work for sure.

I am seeing 120C on VRM in HW Monitor on Idle. Is this normal?  No CPU throttling under the stress test

120°C on the VRM at idle is not normal. Users have reported issues with VRM cooling on this motherboard, so it is advisable to improve cooling solutions or check for any setup issues that might be causing high temperatures.

Z690 boards will need a BIOS update to be compatible with 13th Gen CPUs. The socket for 12th and 13th gen CPUs is the same.

Did anyone else have issues accessing BIOS? F2 and DEL both don't work for me. Clear CMOS doesnt help, POSTS otherwise fine. It's like I accidentally set quick boot and now don't see a splash screen at all. Everything else is great. 12700k, two NVMe drives, 16GB RAM, GTX1080 all works great and stable, including WIndows 10 / 11.

Yes and No.   v5.01 bios and 12700k sees PL1 max of 150 watts and PL2 max of 241 watts, with a max time at PL2 level of 224 seconds (reported as 128s by outside software).  Both of these wattages are above Intel 12700K specifications (PL1:125w PL2:195w@56s).   v1.19 version of bios has ability to set unlimited PL1/PL2 (4096watts), but some benchmarks are significantly faster with the newer bios... even with its lower power limits.  I wish they would go ahead and remove the limits... see no reason to artificially limit them.    Also wish the VRM on this board reported data to HWiNFO like the previous generation Z590M-ITX/ax board did.  Perhaps these can be addressed with a bios update.
