Question 1

Hello,

I am interested in using this board with two 780 Ti's and a 4770k. The specifications are unclear to me and so my question is: Does this board run two PCI-E Slots at x16? And, if so, is there a noticeable boost in performance? Thanks!

It does run two at x16 and it is wired directly to the CPU which bypasses the PCIe bus. Your performance with the setup you mentioned should be face-melting. That being said, I only have one GPU in the system currently so I cannot give you an anecdote for how much of a boost in performance you will get. This board has been rock-solid for me and I am sure it could handle both 780 Ti's at their maximum potential.

Question 2

I am interested in how thick/wide/tall the motherboard is measuring from the back of the PCB to the top of the RAM slot module arm on the top right side of the board?  The reason why i'm asking is because i have a watercooled chassis with a rad that ends JUST above the upper motherboard standoff.  This asrock motherboard as you can see has ram modules very near that standoff screw at the top.  My clearance is approx. 25mm with an 8mm standoff measuring off the motherboard tray; so i have 17mm of clearance from the back of the PCB to the Ram Locking Arm.  Couldn't find width specs anywhere!  Thanks all.

from the back of the board to the top of the retention clip is around 26mm.  You'd need to break off/remove the retention clip and part of the ram socket edge for this motherboard to fit your space.

the edge of the ram socket is roughly at the outer edge of the mother board standoff screw.  i.e. if your radiator sits over the screws at all, your have no clearance without chopping the socket

Is this motherbord Suported 3000Mhz ram gkill?

Yes, like the person above said...thought I have not personally try it, the specifications on the Official Asrock site listed this motherboard should support ram above 3k Mhz like the G.Skill 3000Mhz, as well as ADATA 3000Mhz, and Avexir 3000/3100Mhz.

Question 4

Can anyone confirm that the 4th video card fits with all of the I/O ports beneath it plugged in? It looks like it would smash down all the connectors or not fit at all with them plugged in.

Hello,  I am running this mobo with 7970's.  You can put 4 - 7970's on the board at one time.  It is tight with 4 installed and the power button becomes tricky to operate, but they will fit and function normally

Question 5

Is the fact that going from double to triple SLI means going from a x16 pathway to a x8 pathway affect the performance of the GPU's? might i be better off going with a 2011 chipset that can support up to 40 lanes?

Really it depends on your needs.  If you're gaming or doing a lot of graphics processing that require high bus speeds, you may want to consider a newer chipset.  If you're setting up a mining rig, throughput is irrelevant.
