Does the keyboard get in the way when you use this as a tablet?

It looks like the keys are exposed on the back, do you accidentally get keyclicks?

The keyboard does fold flat on the back.  The keyboard is smart enough to disable when it's folded all the way back so you do not get accidental keyclicks.

does this price include a power cord?

Yes. The power cord is a unique to this machine and is small. The plug looks similar to a USB plug for a phone but is square. I actually wished it could be charged with the standard phone USB cable. It would be one less type of adapter to carry around.

Is there a head phone jack and also is there a camera?

There is definitely a camera, but I can't confirm the headphone jack, though I'd be shocked if it didn't have one.  I can't confirm the headphone jack because I don't remember, and I gave it to my mom who lives in a different state.  I know there's a camera because I tested it out to make sure we could use hangouts for video calls.

I don't t think so-I searched download and could find no one that would use the OS   only found for Windows or Androids

I tried to link the answers I found on google, but Newegg won't let me link other sites.  The answers to your questions:

1. Yes
2. No, you use the kindle web app
3. Yes via free office online - but really Google Docs/Sheets is a better choice if you're working on a chromebook.  They can open MS office formats and edit them.
4. Yes...sort of.  You can use it to transfer files, but there's no real reason to WANT to hook up a cd drive to your chromebook.  Anything you want to use on your chromebook, you will find on the web.

Anyone have experience using an external USB keyboard in tent mode?

I just tried it....  actually, i kinda like it. :)

Works fine, the swivel is firm and hold the tent shape well, and the USB ports are active and function perfectly.

I would suggest a wireless mouse and keyboard.  You can use a mouse, the touch screen interchangeably.

it's not built in.  A chromecast is a dongle that plugs into your tv not a computer.

Yes, you can use the Kindle cloud reader and you can listen to the Audible books online.
