Does this include windows 10?

No.  This is a Chormebook.  The operating system is Chrome.  My husband and I both have one of these and love it.  If you do not plan on installing any windows based programs then this is great.  We do all our banking, online research, shopping, and also our word documents and spreadsheets can be used with Chrome's docs and sheets.  For the price you can't beat getting a chromebook.  This one has an especially long battery life too.  Hope this helps with your decision.  Oh, the only thing is you need to buy a printer that can be cloud based, or have another computer connected to a printer, which is what we have, our desktop.

Does this have an HDMI port?  I want to stream to my TV

Yes it does - it is a miniport, looks similar to a micro usb port. You will need a cable that can go from it to regular hdmi. Very nice machine!

Is this a good computer for business and basic online searching? I'm not interested in movies, games, or music.

It is better suited as something to bring on vacation, in case you need to finish up light work, than business. Some other nice uses for it would be for some light email composition at a coffee shop, or to just leave on the coffee table. Its battery is incredibly good, it's lightweight, and certainly is capable of most basic tasks. With that said, based on what I think most people would define as "business" use, I would not want to rely on this as my primary device.

Would you recommend this product for students?

I would DEFINITELY recommend this Chromebook for students.  We own two in my home and it has survived my husband accidentally dropping and tossing it onto the wood floor from about three feet.  I'm not sure if it would survive falling onto concrete or tile, but I'm not sure any other would.  The battery life is definitely long enough for a whole day of work as I have taken it to meetings and still have half battery life at the end of the work day.  Why?  Its the Rockchip that works great at consuming very little power and still providing great speed.  The slot for the micro SD chip allows for as much storage as you put in there, so no worries about the limited 16gb hard drive.  Its just a great little machine!!!

Is the 802.11ac Wireless LAN backwards compatible with older wireless modems or routers? Tom

I can't say. I am using it now, but I use it at an office building in NYC which seamlessly and automatically connects to the internet via the built in wireless in the Chrome book. never had trouble with this chromebook! When I take it home it connects automatically to my Comcast router .

Do you need to install an antivirus program on it?

You only need anti-malware software on devices running Microsoft Windows. This device does not run Microsoft Windows. It runs what is called "Chrome OS".

Does this have a unscrewable SD card slot for storage upgradability? You can usually find something like this on the bottom, in the middle, with a rectangular cover held by a screw.

The Chromebook does not have a compartment cover on the bottom. You can find the SD card slot of the left side of the computer.

Can you download android apps from the google play store on this Chromebook?

Not yet. There's a Google Play extension that loads into the Chrome browser, but you can't download actual apps yet.  I think they are working to add various Chromebooks, but I just tried again today without success.
