Can I load and run MS Office 2011?

Yes, you should be able to load and run MS Office 2011 on this laptop. I personally use Open Office, myself, but the laptop has the specs to run MS Office 2011. Also, my daughter and mom got a free upgrade to windows 10 from the windows version this one has. Windows 10 runs fine on it.

Can windows 8.1 run DoTA 2?

Yes windows 8.1 can run dota 2, but this laptop does not meet all of the minmum system requirements. The processor isn't quite strong enough for the recomendations. You may still be able to run it in a very low graphics setting, but it is hard to say. How well it will hold up. I play wow on it just fine but that is an older game.

Is this Windows 8.1 Pro or regular Windows 8.1? It says both on the page. I need to know if it has 8.1 Pro because I need to use it in a foreign language, which only 8.1 Pro supports. It's easy to find out what version you're using. Right-click the Start Button. Choose System. It should say Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 with Bing, or Windows 8.1 Pro.

This has been a great laptop for me. Windows 8.1 with a touch interface like this has is every bit as good as win7... and soon we'll be getting windows10 anyway. Putting win7 on this machine would be like buying an audio book from Audible and asking them to print it for you. If you want old tech, just buy old tech.

There is no DVD Drive. Just HDMI, VGA, and a whole bunch of USB slots. If you want DVD, get a USB DVD drive.

I have an ASUS laptop I purchased from you guys a few years ago and the one thing I don't like about it is that the screen has a horrible glare.  Does this have an anti glare screen?

Can a solid state hard drive be installed in this laptop ?

Yes.  It isn't easy.  There is an excellent video on Youtube on how to open the case to replace the drive (and the battery).  I ended up having to do a clean install of Windows though--none of the three backups I made with NTI and ATI would reinstall.  The windows key is in the UEFI firmware and an "all languages" W8.1 image will reinstall.
