What kind of video games could you play on this? Examples maybe MMOs, and how does the touch screen work with games? I have never owned a touch screen so just wondering?

I wouldn't recommend this laptop for online gaming with many MMO games. Typically you are going to want more processing speed and MUCH more out of your graphics card. This has an onboard graphics card and that will almost definitely underperform in an MMO situation.

The touchscreen interface wouldn't help with control in a video game, it would most likely hurt. The main benefit to the touchscreen interface is when using gestures to command on Windows 8. It makes the navigation from Start to Desktop and using your pinned applications a lot quicker and smoother, but other than that the touchscreen isn't a value added benefit. I simply got touchscreen because it's just as cheap with the screen as without, I wouldn't pay more than 5% of the total cost for the added benefit.

To simplify the functionlity of this individual laptop, I would suggest this for a work computer if you typically run Microsoft Office applications, and it functions BARELY for streaming video services. This is basically the bare minimum hardware for every day computing and video media, and is by no means a gaming machine. It's very lightweight and great for travel.

I have no problems viewing any type of video. I don't game on it, mostly word processor. I don't notice a big difference in the processing speed from a i5 desktop I have. I view youtube and netflix and videos on facebook without any problems.

Minecraft on low to possibly mid range graphics settings should work perfectly fine. Definitely a small sized laptop, but very reasonable for the price though. Unfortunately the computer is not focused on having powerful graphics.

Office 2013 was preinstalled but just trial version.
Also, lots of other bloatware but otherwise a good machine.

It has Internet connection.  If you have internet service, you should be  able to download anything from internet including Microsoft Office.  Microsoft Office is not a free software, so you should expect to pay.  This notebook doesn't have CD/DVD drive.  If you want to load software from CD, then you should buy an USB external DVD, CD-RW combo unit.

Yes this has WiFi.  It is a windows computer, it will run Microsoft Office or Open Office so she will be able to create and view PowerPoint presentations.
