How much of the 32gb is free to use?

I don't like ASUS motherboards. I got truly terrified of the company after I bought a P4P800 motherboard and it conked out on me. Sorry ASUS, but LOL, I don't know how to trust your stuff anymore. Besides, I found out that one of the intel chip sets in motherboards are untrustworthy. At the moment, I don't remember which one but it's the one with BH or B something, I decided to try other chipsets for motherboards since then and they work great. I think that the P4P800 pro motherboard that I refer to has those chipsets that fails. They fail with certain hardware, like graphic cards. It took me a while to use my--I think it was an ASUS graphic card--with motherboards until I stayed away from that chipset. I found out the hard way --don't try to save money on CPU, motherboards, and graphic cards. BUY! EXPENSIVE! No comment on this laptop, if it has the chipset that I refer too, run from it. If it does not, it's probably one of the best. I usually buy CPU at 2.50 GHz and up. I found those are reasonably fast. Those close to 2.20 GHz are goods as well. 2.16 GHz should be reasonable as well.

I do not know if the system has replaceable memory as it was a gift and the item never was opened before sent to the recipient.
