It's not a top of the line product in terms of specifications. But it is a new computer.  "Used" ones will be labelled as "refurbished." You will have to take some time to update the operating system (Windows) as it did not come updated to Windows 8.1 out of box.

Hello, I would like to be able to change the language from English to Russian and be able to print let say an email or World document in this language. Is it possible? Thank you, Celia

This laptop is running windows 8, so moving the cursor to the bottom right corner will allow you to bring up the PC settings.  You can change the language under the general settings.  Alternatively, you can bring up the control panel by right-clicking in the lower left corner and selecting "control panel".  There is a language icon in the control panel.

What is the max RAM on this model? I have a pair of 4GB mushkin DDR3-1333 sticks I'd like to add. Will they work with this laptop?

I added a single stick of 4 gig DDR3 to the laptop personally but from what I saw the 4 other gigs were integrated so it's only expandable by one slot.

Mine came with 6GB of memory.  Mine is expandable to 8GB.  Not sure of how many modules.  Some laptops have 2 memory slots and others 4.

I gotta tell ya. If you're really looking for a laptop that handles games "alright" you should bump your budget up to $500 - $600. Otherwise a desktop is your friend.

Yes, MS Office Pro can be installed as long as it's 2007 or newer.
