It has a "Headphone/microphone combo jack." This means that the microphone and earphones have to be a single unit (most are).

We are only using it for office work and accounting so we did not buy it for that purpose, I would always prefer a Core i7 and better graphics card for gaming but otherwise it should be good if you're not a hard core gamer in which case you'd want more memory.

I don't see anything on the Specs about extra memory slots. Are there any, and what is the capacity?

I don't have the laptop on hand to be sure, but I believe there is a second slot on the bottom.
