Does this have illuminated back-lit keyboard?

No, the keyboard is not illuminated.  A couple of other things you might like to know as well.  There is no light or indicator to tell you if caps lock is on, or numbers lock.  Also the feel of the keyboard is a little "mushy".  This does not really bother me since I use my laptop as a desk top, connected to a Star Tech USB3SDOCKDD docking station, with a connected keyboard, mouse, two monitors, and an external hard drive.  When my wife wants to take the laptop, she unplugs two wires and off she goes.  The i7 has lots of horse power.  So no, there is no illuminated keyboard, but at the price I paid, it was a good value.

I just want to know does this computer have space intall SSD Drive?

I just ordered a Seagate Hybrid Drive ST1000LM014 1TB (now on sale) to replace the stock 5200 rpm drive in the machine. From what I've researched, this hybrid drive should give all he benefits of an SSHD at lower cost and higher capacity.

Replacing the HD in the ASUS is not a very easy task; requiring removing the entire bottom of the computer via 8 or 9 screw and careful prying with a thin plastic tool. One probably voids the warranty doing so, but at least you gain practice for replacing the battery when needed.

The performance of the new laptop is so good (compared to the not too old hp/Compaq I had previously that I'm not sure if it needs the SSHD -- but I am going to do it anyway (I'm and old electronics engineer and just have to push the envelope -- it it in my genes).

Alot of Intels will run at 2.2GHz while system load is low to save battery. If the system detects processor load is high it can ramp up to 2.4GHz sometimes called turbo.

I don't know if it makes a good gaming laptop, due to its lack of a graphics card. I normally use it with CAD software and some lighter games. The furthest I tested it was Total War Rome 2 on low settings and a bit of Don't Starve. It ran that smoothly, so it may be able to run it a bit higher.

If you want to run really high-end games though, you might want to find that graphics card. My alternative to this was the Acer Laptop Aspire E5-573G-56RG Intel Core i5 5200U (2.20 GHz) 8 GB Memory 1 TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 940M 4 GB. It has a weaker processor, but it will match your price and has a graphics card.

Otherwise, I built myself a desktop for the graphics intense games. 
I only use this laptop  for its portability and CADing on the go.
