Yes, Windows 10 is installed on the SSD. It's a pretty quick machine. Very happy with the purchase.

No, it does not.  It will require you to either mount ISO files on the machine or use a portable cd/dvd drive.

Hello Ismael. No ! Fan is working fine in my laptop. But I'm facing other problem n that is every time my laptop goes to sleep and then when I try to restart its screen  turns dark. Only way I get into my system is by completely restarting it.

I am thinking about getting this as my first laptop and know very little about this kind of stuff. Ive heard a lot that you would need to update the bios and drivers. Could someone explain what those are/do and how i would be able to do that (without messing anything up)? Thanks!!

Typically you can just go to the ASUS main website and look for all of the drivers on your laptop. You will have to make sure you download drivers for the correct model. To find out you exact model you can type DXDIAG into Run. Which you can find by searching in the search Windows bar. 
On a side note I do have a slight word of caution, if your buying this for the use of gaming which is what I did, your going to run into some issues with the new hybrid graphics technology that it has. It's still fairly new and has some kinks trying to switch between the dedicated GPU and the Integrated one. I would visit the Nvidia website and download/update the Graphics drivers there.

Is it better to update the bios and drivers, if so how should i update them?( i mainly want to buy this for overwatch and college work) Thank you. And can you guys mentions some of the cons and if they outweighs the pros? Thx

Overall in my opinion for a first laptop for me (a high school student) it works wonderfully, the only issue I've had so far is when my computer sleeps the screen doesn't turn back on. But otherwise it runs everything smoothly (Arma 3, Warfrane, Cities Skylknes, Rust)

As of now since this is an older laptop I would update the bios (by flashing it, if you can) otherwise before installing anything reset you're PC to get the latest and newest drivers from Windows 10.

Does this laptop have an Ethernet port?  If so, is it 10/100 or 10/100/1000?

I know mine has an Ethernet port on the left side (flexible opening mechanism in order to keep the laptops edge shape smoother). I do not know the speed, but according to Asus website the K501UX model has 10/100/1000/Gigabit Base T.

No difference, in the context of a graphics card, they refer to the same thing. The vram/ram on a graphics card, nowadays is GDDR5, as opposed to the system ram which is DDR3. System ram is different from GPU Vram/ram. System ram is not referred to as vram, the 'v' meaning video ram. GDDR5 will have faster operating speeds than DDR3 but they are different kind of modules and used for different hardware purposes.
