ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 16" 2.5K WQXGA AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 2.0 GHz up to 5.1GHz 32GB 1TB SSD NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Windows 11 Pro Gaming Laptop, White - GA605WV-XB96

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GA605WV-XB96 is a 16-inch Windows 11 Pro gaming laptop with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, GeForce RTX 4060, 32GB memory, and 1TB SSD, suited to gamers and power users who want strong specs for gaming and demanding everyday work.

Recommended For

• Gamers who want a relatively portable 16-inch laptop for modern games at 2560×1600 and are willing to adjust graphics settings in demanding titles; testing of the RTX 4060 configuration shows playable performance at this resolution, but not consistently high frame rates in every game.
• People who carry a 16-inch computer between home, campus, or work and want gaming-capable hardware in a comparatively slim, approximately 1.8 kg chassis.
• Mobile creators and technical users who need a fast processor, RTX graphics, and 32GB of memory for demanding multitasking or GPU-accelerated work, alongside gaming in one laptop.
• Users who do everyday work or streaming away from an outlet and can recharge between sessions; review testing found several hours for light use, rather than all-day endurance.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• Playing current PC games at home: the RTX 4060 handles many games smoothly, but demanding titles may need reduced settings or upscaling to run comfortably at the screen’s 2560 × 1600 resolution.
• Editing photos or video between projects: the dedicated graphics and 32GB of memory support GPU-accelerated creative apps and multitasking, while the 16-inch high-resolution display gives you room to work; very large or demanding projects may still take longer to render than on higher-tier systems.
• Taking one laptop between work or classes and gaming: its relatively slim 16-inch design is easier to carry than many gaming laptops, and it can handle everyday productivity before switching to games at a desk; plan to recharge during the day, since light-use battery life may not cover a full work or school day.
• Running several everyday apps at once—such as a video call, browser tabs, documents, and messaging: the Ryzen processor and 32GB of memory provide room for this mixed workload, with the discrete GPU available for graphics-heavy tasks when needed.
• Gaming while traveling or away from a charger: it can run games untethered for a short session, but expect lower performance on battery and keep demanding play near a power outlet for a more consistent experience.
